Meet Marnie

Marnie is my mystery breed, 45 pounds of love, adventuring beast. I went to the local humane society last November after a lousy day at work just as Mar was admitted to the shelter. We walked in at the same time aaaand we walked out at the same time. She turns two at the end of January. Marnie comes everywhere with me, from daily trail runs to scrambling to swimming in glaciated lakes. She’s slept in the back of the Jeep with me for our “four fourteeners before breakfast” challenge, snuggled in between me and partner Matthew on a sub-freezing night near Kanab, UT, and taken me skijoring in Leadville, CO. I couldn’t ask for a weirder, lovelier, stronger pup if I tried.
